Travel Apps and Websites provide cost savings and convenience to travellers.

Recent Travel apps and websites have completely changed the travelling experience of the traveller. By using them you can find best deals, book trips, and simply plan your travel with just a few clicks. All these facilities still could not make these apps and sites perfect and they are far from perfect experiences.

Snow Software, a software asset management company recently surveyed 3,000 global workers across the US, UK, and the Asia Pacific about travel tech experience.

The survey showed that 59 per cent of traveller had travel issues caused by technology in one form or another. Other Twenty-three per cent of those who had trouble said they have to deal with incorrect bookings.

Price was the biggest issue for many travellers. Travel booking sites generally aggregates the flight, lodging, and other costs in real-time across countless airline carriers and hotels. Although it is a great way to find a deal. The 45 per cent of respondents said that constantly changing prices were a key pain point to them.

Many times the Travel Apps and Websites are not best either. The survey finds another 40 per cent of respondents said they have to deal with a confusing or slow travel website. More 27 per cent of respondents said they only find limited options for the travel they wanted to book.

Another 22 per cent said there wasn’t enough The lack of flexibility on travel apps and website while booking trips was found by around 22 per cent.

All these are the big reasons why online travel services have put travel agents out of their business. The 67 per cent of respondents said booking via Travel Apps and Websites saves time in the same survey.

Whereas another 54 per cent persons said that technology gives them more travel options and saves money.

No matter how confusing and doubtful Travel Apps and Websites are most of the travellers still prefer to use them. In the same survey, it was found that 36 per cent of respondents like Travel Apps and Websites because they don’t have to talk to a person on the phone.

Another 32 per cent said that overall it is better customer experience. However, 14 per cent of respondents had to suffer one pain point or another with travel apps and websites. Only 1 per cent said they don’t use online booking at all.
