Microsoft has announced the launch of its Photos Companion application on iOS / Android devices. This application allows you to easily copy images from your iOS / Android device to your Windows 10 PC without any built-in peripherals.
The Photos Companion app will work with the Photos app in Windows 10. To use this application’s useful features, you need to do some simple steps:
- Step 1: Launch the Photos app on Window 10.
- Step 2: Click Import> From Mobile over Wi-Fi.
Step 3: You will see a QR code as shown below.
Step 4: Click Get the app or download the Photos Companion app at the link below:
- Android: Photos Companion, and Microsoft Garage project – Applications for Android on Google Play
- iOS: Photos Companion on the App Store
Step 5: Open the Photos Companion application, then take your phone to QR code and scan. Select the picture to send to your PC, then open the Photos app to get the picture.
